Description
The San Miguel River’s riparian ecosystem is one of the most ecologically intact in Colorado. The Norwood Canyon section is popular for whitewater boating and angling, and is characterized by stands of stately, old-growth ponderosa pines in classic park-like settings. The Horsefly Creek tributary includes a lovely undisturbed riparian zone.
